My Story

Oscar Stockley - King #52
Ginetta Junior Racing Driver
My name is Oscar Stockley-King, a 14-year-old racing driver competing in the Ginetta Junior Championship this season.
Motorsport has been part of my life from the very beginning. At just 18 months old, I was already attending race and rally paddocks at Silverstone Circuit, Brands Hatch, and Donington Park, and as soon as I was old enough, I began kart racing myself. In karting, I quickly became one to watch, fighting for podiums every lap and championships year after year. Along the way, I achieved multiple race wins, runners-up finishes in two championships, prestigious awards, and countless fastest laps and podium finishes.
Alongside my racing, I have always taken a confident and focused approach to learning at school, applying the same discipline and commitment to my development as a driver. In 2024, I stepped up into owner-driver Rotax karting, competing in the Rotax Intermax class before transitioning to Junior Rotax in July 2024.
This year marks the biggest transition of my career so far: moving from karts into cars. I am now competing in one of the world’s most competitive junior racing series, the Ginetta Junior Championship. With very limited testing before the season, we entered the championship as clear underdogs. Despite this, in my first races I have already been fighting for podium positions within my class.
As the season continues, I remain focused on improving every time I get behind the wheel. For me, nothing compares to the feeling of real progression.
